Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy has been cleared to rejoin the team after recovering from a side strain injury. He is expected to be available for SRH's first game of the season. 

Reddy, 21, had an impressive IPL 2024 season, scoring 303 runs in 11 innings at an average of 33.66 and a strike rate of 142.92, earning him the Emerging Player of the Season award. In a display of loyalty, he accepted a pay cut from his expected salary of INR 11 crore to INR 6 crore for IPL 2025, helping SRH balance their budget to secure other key players. 

During his rehabilitation, Reddy maintained his fitness regimen, sharing images of his workouts that showcased his dedication to returning stronger. His commitment and timely recovery are positive signs for SRH as they prepare for the upcoming season.
