The method, in full
This page is the contract behind every number on this site. If a comparison here ever breaks one of these rules, write to us and we will correct it — dated, on the page.
What we record
A tracker reads the public pricing page of each covered vendor once a day (05:40 UTC) and stores: the HTTP status, a content fingerprint, the prices found on the page, and — whenever anything changed — a full snapshot of the page. Observations are append-only: new facts are added, old facts are never edited or deleted.
Coverage now: 25 email & marketing vendors, tracked daily since 25 August 2026. Four of them currently block automated reading; they are listed as unread on any page that mentions them, never guessed.
Rules we hold ourselves to
- No guessing. A page we could not read on a given day is recorded as unread. A price we could not parse is shown as “last verified” with its date — never silently shown as current.
- Source on every row. Each fact links the vendor page it came from and the date we read it.
- History is never rewritten. Corrections are appended and dated. The wrong version stays visible as struck text.
- Facts only from the vendor. Prices, plans and limits come from the vendor’s own pages. We do not copy marketing prose, and we do not republish third-party review scores.
- Staleness is shown, not hidden. Every page displays when its data was last verified. Data older than 90 days is flagged on the page.
Disclosure
Some outbound links earn us a commission if you buy. Those links are marked — with the label required in your market — and they change nothing about the data: which vendors we track, what the record says, or how comparisons read. No vendor can pay to be included, excluded, ranked, or described differently. If a vendor has no commission program, they are covered exactly the same way.
